Near and dear to the Sheriff’s heart are the senior citizens of Passaic County! Since taking office, Sheriff Speziale has provided nearly 40,000 seniors with a photo ID card. The card includes an individual’s photograph, personal, emergency contact and pertinent medical information.
Senior groups or organizations in Passaic County that want their members to have photo ID cards may complete and forward the appropriate request form, or call the Community Policing Division at 973-389-5920 to make arrangements for officers to visit your meeting site.
Identification cards for Passaic County seniors are done on the last Thursday of every month, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 60 years of age and present two forms of identifications, such as a driver’s license, medicare, social security or health insurance card, as well as proof of residency, such as a utility bill or letter addressed and postmarked within six weeks of your request.
