The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office is a law enforcement agency dedicated to serving and protecting the residents of Passaic County. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the Office of the Sheriff carries out a wide range of public safety, correctional, and court-related responsibilities essential to the function of county government and the security of our communities.
Under the leadership of the Sheriff, the agency is entrusted with both traditional and specialized law enforcement duties. These include:

Specialized Units (such as SWAT, CSI, K-9, Motorcycle, Mounted, SCUBA, HAZMAT, Bomb Squad and more)
