The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office is proud to offer HOPE One and HOPE Two, mobile outreach units dedicated to connecting individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health challenges to the critical services they need—right in their own communities.
These specially equipped vehicles travel to various locations throughout Passaic County multiple times each week, providing on-the-spot support, access to Narcan training, and direct access to recovery and mental health resources.
Each unit is staffed by a dedicated team that includes:
- A Sheriff’s Officer
- A licensed mental health professional
- A certified peer recovery specialist with experience in addiction and recovery
Together, they offer compassionate, judgment-free assistance to those in crisis or seeking help. Whether it's a first step toward recovery or support for a loved one, HOPE One and HOPE Two bring hope, help, and healing where it's needed most.
Services Provided:
- Access to rehabilitation and treatment programs
- Mental health screenings and referrals
- Narcan training and distribution
- Peer support and follow-up care coordination
- Community education and outreach
By meeting people where they are—physically and emotionally—the HOPE One and HOPE Two programs are saving lives, reducing stigma, and building pathways to recovery throughout Passaic County.
