Located in the heart of Paterson, the Passaic County Court Complex serves as the central hub for judicial activity in Passaic County. This facility houses the Superior Court of New Jersey for Passaic County, which includes the Civil, Criminal, Family, and Special Civil Divisions, as well as various administrative offices supporting the judicial system.
The Passaic County Sheriff's Office provides security and operational support throughout the courthouse, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for all court personnel, litigants, attorneys, jurors, and visitors. Our Court Security Division is responsible for screening all entrants, maintaining courtroom order, and safely transporting detainees for court appearances.
